Gate one: resolve the design image

Write one original garment brief with concrete silhouette, proportion, construction, visual material cues, palette, and presentation. Generate the design PNG, verify its pixel dimensions and file size, then compare the visible garment with the resolved prompt. Count closures and pockets, trace seams, inspect edges, and reject unexpected marks or text.

Pass the gate only when the source is coherent enough for the next visual question. The PNG is not a tech pack, physical sample, fit test, or print approval. If a pocket floats, the hem is cropped, or the intended view is missing, fix the design stage rather than hoping try-on or video will restore the information.

Gate two: prepare an authorized try-on pair

The current try-on workbench accepts one authorized portrait and one garment source, with no free-text prompt field. Confirm portrait rights for the intended purpose, choose compatible portrait and garment views, and ensure the portrait crop contains every garment region the review requires. Use a preparation brief to record framing variables and checks.

After generation, compare the try-on PNG with both inputs. Inspect neckline placement, sleeves, closures, pockets, hem, hands near edges, face continuity, and any source detail that changes. The result is a visualization, not evidence of physical size, fit, comfort, accessibility, or material behavior. Return to source preparation when cropping or occlusion caused the failure.

Gate three: direct one short motion relationship

Choose the resolved design or authorized try-on result that best supports the intended clip. Describe one subject action, one camera behavior, pace, framing, two or three garment continuity anchors, and a stable end frame. Keep the request narrow: a bounded turn, a measured walk, a detail push-in, or a level silhouette pan.

When the MP4 is ready, verify duration, pixel dimensions, file size, project, and source relationship. Watch for edge shimmer, body or closure discontinuity, background jumps, and details that appear or disappear. Generated motion is not physical simulation; a visually plausible frame sequence still requires human review before external use.

Return to the stage that owns the failure

Use failure ownership to avoid expensive ambiguity. A missing pocket or wrong silhouette belongs to design. A hand covering the closure or a crop that loses the hem belongs to try-on source preparation. A camera orbit, closure jump, or unstable end frame belongs to video direction or motion generation. Do not patch an upstream defect with downstream decoration.

Record the reason for return and retain the previous file as rejected evidence rather than silently replacing it. Change the smallest relevant input, generate again at that stage, and re-run only the downstream gates affected by the new source. This keeps the lineage useful and prevents an old approval note from attaching to a different file.
